Inner City Educational Mentoring
(Minneapolis ICEMEN/LADY ICE)
We are a non-profit organization with non-traditional ways of teaching academic responsibility, life skills, and self-discipline by utilizing a basketball program and the "sports" core values as the key educational tool. The ICEMEN & LADY ICE serve boys & girls ages 9 to 14 that reside in the South Minneapolis area. The program offers homework assistance, educational field trips and traveling basketball. The ICEMEN also offer an after-school activities program serving all ages of boys and girls that attend Hans Christian Anderson Elementary School. In order to participate in the traveling basketball program, all the young men must keep up acceptable grades and participate in the educational activities offered.

The Inner City Educational Mentoring Program depends on the support of the community to make this program a growing success.

ICEMEN Family & Support We as parents have also spent countless hours fundraising down at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome by working concessions at Twins and Gophers games. The Minneapolis ICEMEN are recognized as a non-profit and are considered a tax exempt organization in the State of Minnesota. Please help us continue our dream of getting our inner city youth out of the streets and in to some positive recreational activities. We will gladly accept ideas for fundraisers, volunteers, dedicated mentors and donations.

Again, The Minneapolis ICEMEN want to extend our sincere appreciation of the gifts, contributions, and the continued support everyone has given us. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Respectfully yours,
Antonio & Danielle Taylor
